The success story of MLH started with a simple but sharp vision to create value and partnership, empowering businesses as part of the ecosystem so that everyone can grow together.
To re-cap our milestone, before rebranding ourselves as MLH, we had set up Emery Worldwide (M) Sdn Bhd, in 1985. Malaysia was then booming with Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) with many electronic companies setting up their manufacturing plants within the Free Trade Zones in Penang and Kuala Lumpur. We tapped onto this opportunity to expand the business into a trusted Partner of the industry today.
At the turn of the 90s, the air freight forwarding business had evolved into a more diverse direction, where warehousing and distribution became a requirement. Merger acquisitions were made and sophisticated and technologydriven logistic solutions were implemented. MLH expanded further with the new offices and logistic facilities in Johor Bahru, Penang, Port Klang, KLIA and East Malaysia apart from Subang Jaya to meet the demands then.
In 2010, we formed synergistic partnerships overseas with IJS Global Inc., a US based International Freight Forwarder. This allowed us to reach a higher pedestal in the Logistics arena. In 2014, we incorporated MLH Worldwide Sdn Bhd, and partnered with GEFCO Inc., the Frenchbased global logistics company.
Today, we are present in over 100 countries and serve over 300 destinations.
